The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly status sassa as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support place created for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and raise entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.

For more sassa information, community members can sassa status call toll free during working days/hours on 0800 60 10 11 and WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. - SAnews.gov.za
